When training to be a bodybuilder your diet is the most important piece of the puzzle. While the types of foods you intake is important, almost as important is how you take it in. Smaller meals about five times a day is the best way to eat. Humans were part of a hunter gatherer society in our early beginings which meant we needed to work to get our food. It wasn’t until the industrial revolution that our eating habits changed to meet the needs of industry and shifted to three meals a day. A good rule to follow is 6 repetitions of each exercise. Another good rule to follow is to find out the maximum weight you can lift is, then use 75% of that total as the amount you work out with. As you find that amount and the amount of repetitions you are doing is becoming too easy, you can increase the intensity by adding additional weight, or increasing the amount of reps.
